Every month a group of fellow photographers and I get together and each write a blog post about our lives. We link each blog together so that you can read each blog in a circle and as you go through the circle you get to see life through a different photographers eyes and let them tell you about their life that month. What we focus on each month is just life nothing posed, no perfect pictures just every day life the messy unplanned every day moments. Reading my blog you will get to see life through my eyes as a mom, wife and a Philadelphia pa family photographer. After you read my blog click HERE to continue the blog circle and read the very talented Laurie’s blog.
This month I chose to blog about my girls weekend with my daughters. We down to my dad and stepmom’s condo down at the Jersey shore for a long weekend just us girls. I feel like it is so important for mothers and daughters to bond and have memories together of just us. The first picture that I posted above is of my daughters and I on the couch watching a movie I set up my camera because I wanted to just capture the simple moment of us cuddle up watching a movie but we needed up having a tickle fight. Technically it may not be a perfect picture but to me it is perfect. It is a moment between me and my daughters that I will always remember and now I have a picture to document that with. Their childhood is flying by my oldest is 12 years old and in 6 short years she will be leaving for college so I want to document all of the regular moments that we share together on a day to day basis. That is one of the things that I really love about this blog circle group, we are not looking for perfect pictures just the ones that make us happy and show our true selves. Below are a few more of my favorites form our girls weekend.
