When is the best time to have my newborn photographed?

The best time to do newborn photography is within the first 7-10 days after the baby is born. That time frame helps improve the chance of getting sleepy, snuggly shots. But all babies are different so no poses are guaranteed and no matter the age we will have fun.

Is there a certain time that works best for family/children photo’s?

There is not a certain time that works for each family, every family is different. I always advise my families to let me know what their children schedules are naps, feedings and what time of the day is their child the happiest. Mommies and daddies know their kids and we work around scheduling the sessions around each families needs.

Who picks the locations of the shoot the client or the photographer?

I always work with the clients on the location of the shoot, I always ask my clients if there is somewhere in particular that they would like to have the session. If the client has somewhere in particular we will have the session there, or if you don’t have anywhere in particular that you would like then I will ask you some questions on what you are looking for in a location and then I will provide some options for you to pick that meet your needs.

How long after our session do we receive our photos if we have chosen a print package?

If you have purchased a print package you will receive a private online viewing gallery of your photo’s within 2-3 weeks of your session. (sometimes sooner) From that gallery you will then choose what pictures or collections you would like to purchase. We do require a $100.00 minimum purchase with print packages. The online gallery will only be available to you to choose from for 10 days. After that if you need the gallery put back up online there will be a small fee. Please feel free to share the link to your family and friends so that can view the pictures and purchasing any that they love. After you have selected your photos I will order them through my lab and you will receive them in 2-3 business days.
