Hi again, everyone!

It was a beautiful day for a cake smash at Appleford Estate in King of Prussia pa to Celebrate baby “J” first birthday with a cake smash.

Location

Appleford Estate is located about 30 minutes outside of Philadelphia Pa and it is a photographer’s dream location. There are so many beautiful flowers and the entire property is landscaped perfectly. The possibilities are endless you could spend all day just exploring the property. It was the perfect location for a outdoors 1st birthday cake smash.

The Birthday Boy

I spent my afternoon with this handsome little guy and his parents documenting his first birthday photos. But you know what 1-year-old birthdays mean? Cake. And smashing cakes, of course. Before I get to the adorable photos I know you came here for, I have to share pictures from the family photo’s that we took the first half of the session prior to the bringing out the cake.

And that, my friends, brings us to his 1-year smash the cake photos. What I loved most about this cake smash session was being able to sit back and watch this sweet little boy take it all in. He was a little unsure of what to do at first and just checked everything out. He was so intrigued by what he was being allowed to do, it was too adorable.

As you can see, He loved his smash the cake session it only took a few minutes for him to figure out what he needed to do and he loved it!  Who wouldn’t, am I right?  I know I’d have fun playing in cake! He had so much fun pounding his tiny little fist into that cake it was so fun to watch.
